Brandin and Steven’s relationship goes back to the early days of CUTS. This history is present when you walk into the closet of Brandin’s new house and see some of the first-ever CUTS colors and fabrics like a Coral crew elongated in the original PYCA fabric.
Brandin’s journey as an entrepreneur started when he was 24 years old. While working for the Arizona Diamondbacks after college, Brandin realized an opportunity for a healthy and efficient sports drink. In the years that followed he built the empire of Liquid I.V. By mid-2020 Brandin had built one of the fastest-growing sports drinks companies in the world, and Liquid I.V. was acquired by the consumer goods giant Unilever in a blockbuster deal.
As non-competing entrepreneurs with different specialties, Brandin and Steven developed a friendship and working relationship where they shared insights and helped each other’s businesses grow.
